21If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat;if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. 22In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you. Let me see if I can clarify, when we pray for our enemies, when we love them regardless of what they do, that is a supernatural love. Because within ourselves we only can love our enemies because Christ lives in us, you don’t pray for The Lord to heap coals of fire on their head for revenge, that is not what He is talking about. See it makes us see the situation in a different light. We show love and offer prayers to those people, and it has to be genuine and only you and The Lord know for sure, then if their hearts are full of “the devil” then those prayers just have more power, and your kindness, your love, etc. only convicts their dark heart. So today, I pray that as you pray for your enemies your not spitefully doing so, but doing it out of true love for that person, so The Lord can change their hearts.
