The thief of our joy!

Who is the thief of our joy? It’s the enemy , satan, he will do anything to make you doubt there is a God. He wants nothing more for your life than to keep you in a state of confusion, anger and denial. Trust me I know this because I have lived it, AND I KNEW BETTER! Sadly, it is many times those in our families, and more in our church families that hurt us. We expect more from them, thing is we forget, whether your in the ministry or a lay person your not exempt from attack. Ephesians 6:10-18 “The Whole Armor of God”10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the [a]wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [b]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints

Not one person is not prey for the enemy, especially if your a child of God. What is perplexing to me is that so many Christians think they have “arrived”. Well if your there, know that you may have arrived somewhere but you never arrive to fullness of Christ, we only strive to be there. And for those that think it’s ok to just turn your back on someone because they are struggling you don’t know why…you don’t know what season of life they are in, your not walking in their shoes. So don’t be so prideful that you think your above your brother and sisters in Christ. The ground at the cross is level my friends your no better than the other person, that is either struggling with loss, illness, death, even pridefullness. So to those that have been hurt, battered and beat up by those who you trusted not to hurt you. Put your crown on sister because your a princess in the King of Kings eyes. And I pray that we all as Christians pay attention to what we say and do to one another. In the mean while, put on your armor!
